Idao de Tillard changes plans ahead of winter season
Updated: Oct 1

Two of the best horses in France, Idao de Tillard and Inexess Bleu, were both set to start in the Grand Prix Anjou-Maine at Laval on September 30. The group 3 race is run over 2850m, with horses that have earned more than €495,000 giving 25m to the rest of the field.
However, the plans have changed.
Idao de Tillard, hoping for a third Prix d’Amérique victory, has now opted out of the Prix de Wallonie (September 19 at Mons), the Grand Prix Anjou-Maine (September 30 at Laval) and the U.E.T. Elite Final (October 11 at Turin).
His connections confirmed in an interview with Equidia that they are now aiming for the Grand Prix du Sud-Ouest, a group 2 race at Toulouse on October 21, before the winter season in France. His first preparation races for the Prix d’Amérique are still unknown.
Inexess Bleu broke stride in the Prix de Wallonie directly after the start. Future plans for Inexess Bleu are unclear, but a start in the U.E.T. Elite Final hasn’t been ruled out. As he’s gelded, he’s excluded from starting in the Prix d’Amérique.
Go On Boy and Don Fanucci Zet have been the only confirmed starters so far for the final in Italy.
